The Soundscapes Concert Series is intended to bring electronic music to the Lehigh Valley by being the concert companion to EMUSIC, a radio show in the Allentown - Lehigh Valley area of southeastern Pennsylvania. Like the radio show, SOUNDSCAPES features Electronic, Ambient and Spacemusic. There are many reasons for starting this concert series, not the least of which is to bring the music heard on EMUSIC to the show's listeners and to others in a comfortable, friendly and relaxed concert setting. This also has the byproduct of providing valuable performance opportunities to the musicians who put so much energy into their craft. This is their chance to step out of the relative safety of their studios and connect with the fans of electronic music. |
